HIGHLIGHTS

  • Love for terrorists is common between Rahul Gandhi and Pakistan, tweeted Smriti Irani
  • People who feed biryani to terrorists are demanding proof of army's bravery, said Yogi in a tweet
  • Congress also soon fished out a video of Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad saying something similar
After Congress president Rahul Gandhi referred Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) chief Masood Azhar as 'Masood Azhar ji', the Bharatiya Janata Party was quick to slam the Congress chief for this.
Textiles Minister Smriti Irani tweeted Rahul's speech video and wrote, "What is common between Rahul Gandhi and Pakistan? Their love for terrorists. Please note Rahul ji's reverence for terrorist Masood Azhar - a testimony to #RahulLovesTerrorists."
Now, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has slammed Rahul Gandhi for his 'Masood Azhar ji' reference.
He retweeted Irani's tweet and wrote, "Rahul Gandhi utna hi bolte hai jitna rataya jata hai. Jo log aatankwadiyon ko biryani khilaate hai, aaj wo sena ke shaurya ka sabut maang rahe hain [Rahul Gandhi only speaks as much as he is taught. People who feed biryani to terrorists are demanding proof of army's bravery]."
Congress was also not behind and soon fished out a video of Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad saying something similar.
In a tweet on Tuesday, Congress spokesperson Priyanka Chaturvedi shared a video of Ravi Shankar Prasad referring to terrorist group Lashkar-e-Taiba chief Hafiz Saeed as "ji".
In the video, Ravi Shankar Prasad can be heard saying that they had recorded a statement by "Hafiz ji".
