Paytm First launched to take on Amazon, Flipkart: Everything you need to know

Leading mobile wallet company Paytm has launched a premium subscription-based rewards and loyalty program called Paytm First for its users. The programme offers benefits across various categories like food, travel, entertainment and aims to take on the likes of Amazon Prime and Flipkart Plus.
"We are super excited to launch "Paytm First", a premium subscription-based rewards & loyalty program for our users. With this, we are offering exclusive benefits, over and above our regular offers," the company says in the press statement.
Paytm First subscription charge
Paytm First subscription costs Rs 750 for one year. There is also an inaugural cashback of Rs 100 for first 1,500 subscribers of Paytm First. This brings down the effective price to Rs 650 a year. However, the cashback offer is available only for a limited period only.
Paytm First programme inclusions
Paytm offers benefits worth Rs 1200 under the Paytm First programme. This includes Zomato Gold membership, annual Gaana membership, annual Sony Liv subscription, ViU Premium, Eros Now Annual membership, Uber benefits worth up to Rs 6000, Uber Eats benefits worth up to Rs 2400 and more. Additionally, customers will also get over Rs 1500 cashback including Rs 100 cash back on movie ticket booking each month. There would also be exclusive offers for shopping on Paytm Mall with unlimited free and priority shipping, along with the access to priority 24x7 customer care as well.

Availability of Paytm First
Paytm First is available in beta on Android. The stable build will be released to public by midnight of March 5. The iOS users will get it by March 6.
