Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) targetted a CRPF convoy of 50 vehicles in Kashmir's Pulwama.

The father of one of the slain CRPF jawan Ratan Thakur in Bihar said that he was ready to give up his other son for the service of the country but Pakistan had to be given a befitting reply for the terror act.
"I have sacrificed a son in Mother India's service, I will send my other son as well to fight. I am ready to give him up for Mother India, but Pakistan must be given a befitting reply," the father said in Bhagalpur.
At least 37 CRPF jawans were killed and dozens injured in a terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district. Families of the slain jawans mourned across India for their sons.
Terror group Jaish-e-Mohammed has taken the responsibility of the attack. IED blast was followed by gunshots in Goripora area of Awantipora. The incident took place when some 2,547 CRPF personnel were coming in a convoy of 78 vehicles from the transit camp in Jammu and headed to Srinagar.
Police sources said a suicide attacker rammed his vehicle around 3.15 pm, taking the security forces completely by surprise.
An earlier report said an improvised explosive device (IED) was exploded and then militants fired at the convoy.
UP CM Yogi Adityanath has announced Rs 25 lack to the families of the slain CRPF jawans who lost their life in Pulwama. Around 12 martyrs are from UP.
