Alia Bhatt bumped into ex-flame Sidharth Malhotra as Bollywood's young brigade left for Delhi to meet PM Narendra Modi. Buzz has it that two completely ignored each other's presence.
Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra were among other Bollywood stars who met PM Modi recently.
When Bollywood's young brigade left for Delhi to meet PM Narendra Modi, an interesting mix of actors like Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor, Ayushmann Khurrana, Varun Dhawan were spotted at the airport. But it was Alia Bhatt and her ex-flame Sidharth Malhotra who grabbed maximum eyeballs. It is no secret that Alia and Sidharth were in a relationship, but the two broke up some time in 2017.
Soon Alia moved on with Ranbir, while Sidharth is rumoured to be dating Kiara Advani. And seldom do we get a chance to see th ex-flames together. But Thursday morning was a different story when the ex-lovers came together for this meeting with PM Modi to discuss the participation and contribution of these youth icons from the Hindi film industry in nation-building.
And according to a report on an entertainment portal, it was an awkward encounter between the two exes. The report suggests that Alia and Sidharth had no interaction at the airport. Reportedly, the two crossed paths many times but they didn't acknowledge each other's presence.
However, the report mentions that Ranbir and Sidharth were cordial to each other.
In the various videos and photos that have made to social media, Sidharth is seen either hanging out with Rajkummar Rao or Vicky Kaushal, and being completely ignored by Ranbir and Alia.
Along with Ranbir, Alia, Sidharth, Varun, Rajkummar, Ayushmann, stars like Vicky Kaushal, Karan Johar, Rohit Shetty and Bhumi Pednekar were seen at the meeting with PM Modi.
Karan took to social media to thank PM Modi for this interaction and wrote, "As a community, there is a huge interest to contribute to nation building. There is so much that we want to do. And can do and this dialogue was towards how and what ways we can do that. When the youngest country (in demography) joins hands with the largest movie industry in the world, we hope to be a force to reckon with. Together we would love to inspire and ignite positive changes to a transformative India."
