Former Bigg Boss contestant Sofia Hayat's personal life has always grabbed media attention. Be it her troubled marriage with Vlad Stanescu, unfortunate miscarriage or rumoured affair with Indian cricketer Rohit Sharma. And to give more fodder to social media, the model is penning a tell-all book. Recently, she revealed that her book will reveal many untold details of her affair with Rohit Sharma.
Sofia had admitted to her affair with Sharma in 2012 and said they had dated for about a year before things went sour when he referred to her as a fan. Recently, in a conversation with SpotboyE, she revealed that she will be including Rohit in the book as well.
She said, "Yes, those reports were true. And I am including him in the book. I met him in a club in London. I was celebrating the wrap of a movie I had done. I was dancing when a friend of mine from the movie's set introduced us. My friend told me 'he is Rohit Sharma' but I really didn't know as I don't see cricket much. Anyway, we got talking to each other and soon moved over to a quieter place in the club. It went pretty quickly from there. He kissed me. It was pretty nice. After that, we danced together. 4 days later he came to stay with me in my house."
When asked about their fall out, she said, "It all began when he suddenly spoke to the media and told them that I was just a fan. That hurt me quite a bit. I decided to break-up with him. I sent him a message saying that: Look, I am not your fan. And I don't want to see you anymore. What you have done is disgusting. I broke off all contacts with him. I didn't want to see him. I blocked him on my Twitter handle. If someone can behave like that, I think somewhere the morality is not there."
The controversial model, who had earlier planned to renounce the world to embrace spirituality, gave marriage a chance after meeting Vlad Stanescu, a Romanian 'interior designer'. She tied the knot with him in 2017 in a lavish Egyptian wedding. A year later she filed a police complaint against Vlad as he tried to strangulate her. She even called him a con man. Not just his identity, Vlad also sold the wedding ring for Rs 1.5 lakh.
Seems like Sofia's book will create quite a stir on social media.
