The humility of two powerful leaders of the world—Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump—was on display during the 'Howdy Modi' event in Houston on Sunday, when the duo posed for a selfie on the request of a young boy.
Modi and Trump were meeting with a group of young performers on the stage when the lucky boy got the opportunity to create a moment which he would definitely cherish for times to come.
In a brotherly gesture, the two leaders were seen posing for the selfie with hands on each other's shoulders.
The video of the incident was shared on Twitter by the Prime Minister's Office. Since then it has gone viral on social platforms with netizens showering praise on the young boy. One Twitter user aptly put it: "This guy has got a selfie of his life".
Earlier, Modi and Trump addressed the 50,000-strong Indian community members who thronged the NRG stadium in the energy capital. The main event was preceded by a 90-minute-long cultural performances that showcase the diversity in the Indian-American community. The event is seen as a reflection of deep and special relationship between India and the US.
After their speeches, both Modi and Trump were seen walking towards the stage hand-in-hand.
